NME — ребята специфические. Перестал их читать, когда надоело из номера в номер видеть жизнеописание всех этих Либертайнс, Вайт Страйпс, Франц Фердинанд и прочих. Совершенно двинутые. Раньше про Блёр писали и неприменно статья-заметочка про Нирвану. Ежели им какой коллектив стукнет в голову, то сразу вылезают превосходные степени сравнения («лучшайшие» и «гениальнейшие»), обещания бессмертия — и так до следущих любимчиков. Так что с долей скепсиса смотрим на их шаманства:

Очевидно, теперь NME двинулись на Arctic Monkeys. Да и не только они: в ежегодном рейтинге «Лучших песен последних 20 лет» журнала Q Arctic Monkeys значатся на двадцатом месте. Что в них такого-растакого — я не понимаю. Рад за YYY и Mogwai.
